Yolanda Peña

From 1985 until 1990 she studied classical dance at the Escuela Superior de Arte dramático y Danza in Valencia. In 1991 she was awarded a scholarship from the Generalitat Valenciana to study at the Centre International de Danse “Rosella Hightower” Cannes (France). In 1999 she receives an award for Performance and the 2nd award for classical dance in the III National Competition of Ribarroja del Turia.

As a dancer, she became a member of Ballet Clásico Contemporáneo of Mario Martens from 1992 until 1995, performing in productions such as "Carmen”, “Tangos”, “Cantata marinada”.  In 2000 she danced for Co. Pampol’s (Pachi Fenollar) in the production “Bailando con osos”; from 2001 in the Company Bojnami danza (Eva Bertomeu) in the production “…de todo lo que me habita”, “Femme”, “Babel”; in the Company Patas Arriba (Asun Noales y Arantxa Sagardoy) with the productions “Islas”, “Afán”; with the Company Otra danza (Asun Noales) “Trio” and “Orillas”; and currently in the Company Bojnami Danza (Eva Bertomeu) “Temps fugit”.
