Paolo Coppolella was born in Vercelli, Italy, in 1980. His curious nature led him to the world of fashion after many other experiences, such as working as an educator in a psychiatric clinic until 2006, when he moved to Spain and began his first project in the fashion industry, an ethical project called Retal Reciclaje Creativo. In a short time, Paolo, a self-taught designer, and his partner Paola Pucci achieved important goals, such as being invited to participate in fashion events like Pret a Porter in Paris, Bread & Butter in Barcelona, SIMM in Madrid, Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence, and Pitti Donna in Milan, helping the brand reach a larger audience and establish international distribution. At the end of 2010, Paolo embarked on a new path, creating his own brand, Paolo Coppolella, which not only takes his name, but also his theatrical character, which leads him to infuse all his projects with other art forms, so that the presentation of a new collection or project is just an excuse to combine different arts and create synergies. His first collection, “Day of the Dead,” created in a very short time, was presented during the 10th edition of Valencia Fashion Week and was very well received by the public and the press, giving Paolo the courage and challenge to continue this adventure on his own.
He then began to explore the world of international fashion, invited to give lectures at foreign academies, conducting workshops, and having his collections published in magazines from Japan to France, showing how the specialized press around the world was beginning to show interest in this young self-taught designer. Paolo Coppolella's collections are now available in various major stores, as well as on his personal website.
