ARA
Description
ARA is the second part of a trilogy that began with BACK. This new journey crosses the body, space and choreographic games to connect with the viewer's senses, with the flesh, excitement, surprise and feelings beyond the limits of the skin. ARA shares the stage with the performance space designed by Luis Crespo, lighting created by Juanjo Llorens, the music composed by Ludovico Einaudi, Kronos Quartet and Pan Sonic and the artistic direction and choreography of Asun Noales.
ARA, moment, instant, sensation, feeling, emotion, ARA is all that. Draws us into a delicate and captivating world of single circumstances, giving sense to the moment, unique, and to the ephemeral of time. In this chaotic society, fast, vulnerable, surprising, at this cybernetic moment, ARA is created within a specific landscape of a particular place, a particular emotion, to concentrate the viewer in a single instant.
ARA pursues the dance transmission capability, that captures both the dancer on stage and the audience. It does it through the sense, emotion and the pleasure and enjoyment that goes from the stage to his seat. ARA makes the viewers feel the dance in their own skin, does the audience absorb a multitude of images, sounds, aromas, textures ... that lead directly to commonplaces, shared experiences and universal feelings.
The reflections are again important part of the visual concept of Noales. The stage design created by Luis Crespo, more complex and dynamic than in the first part of the trilogy, will be supported by the stage lighting design of Juanjo Llorens. This set gives us effects and poetic images, evocative and beautiful, which along the music of the authors who form the sound space, takes us by the different atmospheres created by Asun Noales and OtraDanza dancers.
